In this class, students will learn the basics of flax cord making. Although students are encouraged to bring any fibrous long leaves to class, we will also have plenty of pre-foraged flax leaves.

This workshop is for everyone and all skill levels. It does require repetitive hand movements, however, so anyone with wrist/hands issues should be careful.

The final project will be a few metres of cord and a small flax basket. This is a relaxed, fun-filled class.
