You will bend and weave your day away in this fun, relaxing 4hr workshop.
You will get to take home your own medium handmade basket at the end of the workshop.
This introductory workshop is designed for beginners with no experience of basketry, as you will learn the necessary skills to make beautiful and practical baskets. The workshop is all about exploration and play – not perfection.
We will show you how to make 2-3 different styles of baskets.
Note: It does require repetitive hand movements, however, so anyone with wrist/hands issues should be careful and will be encouraged to take breaks.
The finished project will be a medium-sized basket. This is a relaxed, fun-filled class.
