Learn how to weave on a table loom!

When: Saturday Oct 5th 10am-2pm

Where: Meander hall, Meander

What to bring:

• Refreshments and a platter lunch will be provided. Please email me if you have any dietary requirements.
• Scissors and any yarn you love but don’t stress as we will have heaps. 
• Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.

You will warp and weave your day away in this 4hr workshop.

We will explore the different table looms available and you’ll get an understanding of how to use them all to achieve a small mat, scarf or blanket

This introductory workshop is designed for beginners with no experience in loom weaving, as you will learn the necessary skills to make beautiful and practical homewares. We won’t be covering complex patterns.

The workshop is all about exploration and play – not perfection.

Note: It does require repetitive hand movements and some hand strength, however, so anyone with wrist/hand issues should be careful and will be encouraged to take breaks. It is a sit down class and the room is heated.
