Private Grass basket workshop

Learn how to harvest plant fibres and turn them into a basket!

When: Email or call to book a day that suits your group.

Where: Deloraine or I can come to you  

What to bring:

• Refreshments and a platter lunch will be provided. Please email me if you have any dietary requirements.
• Scissors
• Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.

You will twist and weave your day away in this fun, relaxing 3hr workshop.

You will explore the abundance of grasses Tassie has to share and weave a small/medium basket.

This introductory workshop is designed for beginners with no experience of basketry, as you will learn the necessary skills to make beautiful and practical woven baskets. The workshop is all about exploration and play – not perfection.

Note: It does require repetitive hand movements and some hand strength, however, so anyone with wrist/hand issues should be careful and will be encouraged to take breaks.
