Terms & Conditions
As with all things.. we also have some rules (the not so fun stuff)
Here are the Workshop Terms and Conditions…
All The Forest Folk workshop dates and times are subject to availability. For up-to-date availability of workshops, please contact Jas on 0422193971, or email theforestfolk_tas@gmail.com
Please refer to all information provided regarding individual workshop details and requirements. Confirmation of your booking will constitute your agreement to the terms and conditions outlined.
Meals & Dietary Requirements
If the workshop includes meals, attendees are asked to notify The Forest Folk regarding any special dietary requirements when making the booking.
Payment and cancellation procedures
Where charges apply, a $50 deposit must be paid for in advance by direct bank transfer. This secures your place in the workshop.
If payment for the workshop is not received in advance, we regret that the participant will not be able to attend.
You can also choose to pay in full.
Where participants cannot make it to a workshop they have paid for a credit will be held on their account and they will have a year to use it for another workshop. Deposits will not be refunded.
Numbers: If The Forest Folk workshops do not achieve more than 4 participants they will cancel the workshop and full refunds will be made.
The Forest Folk reserves the right to cancel or alter any workshop. All workshop dates and times are subject to change, but The Forest Folk will endeavour to ensure workshops are held on the committed dates/times, unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as the host/s being unable to attend due to illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. The Forest Folk will inform the participants with as much notice as possible on these occasions.
Should a cancellation become necessary by the The Forest Folk the attendee will have the choice of attending an alternative workshop (and where this is of a lower price, The Forest Folk will refund the difference), or withdrawing from the workshop and, where applicable, accepting a refund of the cost of that specific workshop to The Forest Folk.
In the event that the specific host/s is unable to attend due to illness or other circumstances beyond The Forest Folk’s control, then the workshop will be cancelled if no suitable replacement can be arranged.
For complimentary workshops, the workshop will be rearranged to another date and the attendee offered a place on that alternative date.
No cancellation penalties (including travel expenses to and from the workshop, or accommodation costs) will be paid out in the event of workshop cancellations by The Forest Folk. Please check your hotel and travel cancellation policy as this may be affected in the event of a cancellation or alteration to a workshop.
The Participant acknowledges and agrees that The Forest Folk is not responsible and will not be held liable for any damage, injury, theft or damage to the Participant’s personal property or self at the venue prior to, during or after the workshop.
